The headline event of the Deltin Poker Tournament, i.e. 35K Main Event began last night, attracting a massive 300-player field. At the end of play on Day 1 of the biggest tournament for poker in India, Nitin Gupta was the frontrunner with 2,15,000 in chips.
So far this series has been a resounding success. With a total of 300 entries, this edition registered six more entries than the April edition where Kolkata`s Mayank Agarwal ran through the 194-player strong field to clinch ₹25.45 Lakhs in prize money.
Notables in the event included online event winner Kunal Patni along with Celebrity Pro Minissha Lamba. Among the others were Manoj Pentakota, Gagandeep Malik, Anil Gulati, Jasven Saigal, Nitesh Baliyan and Abhishek Jalan.
