Florida Poker Room Shifting To New Location

Florida Poker Room

The poker room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, only 25 miles north of the city of Miami, is reportedly on the move.

The casino declared on Monday that the property’s ballroom is set to be the new location for its poker offerings, which features 40 cash game tables. The poker room was closed for 2 days in order to make the transition, the casino stated.

The ballrooms hosted major poker tournaments stops at the casino.

The poker room is slated to reopen on June 1. The move is claimed to give poker players simple access to the tables, as the new room will be a much more convenient walk from the Seminole Way parking garage. The reason for the shift is due to the presently ongoing expansion of the property, which features adding in new dining and other nightclub options.

According to a report, the last instance the poker room at the casino, known as Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, was relocated was back in 2008, when the casino offered blackjack thanks to a contract with the state.

Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood’s poker room is one of the many in the area.
