The 27th edition of the Macau Poker Cup is deep in to its schedule with the Red Dragon Main Event currently underway. Regulars of poker in India have set the series by storm after making several impressive displays. Recently, Rohit Madhur came agonisingly close to winning a side-event but had to settle for second place, pocketing HK$179,100 in the process.
Event #18: $15,000 PLO
The $15,000 PLO event attracted 76 competitors to generate a prize pool of HK$995,220 and when the dust settled, China’s Fengju Sun claimed the title along with HK$268,700.
It was a special event for Team India as one of our challengers - Rohit Madhur came quite close to sealing the deal but placed runner-up. Another Indian poker pro Mohit Agarwal also made it to the final table finishing seventh for HK$59,650.
