After Brian Powell exited in fifth place Java’s lead surged to over 30,000,000 making up for almost half of the total chips in play with four players left.
At this stage a deal was discussed to chop out the remaining cash pool. Owing to his massive stack Java earned $230,849 and it didn`t take him long to clinch the championship trophy.
“It’s a confidence game,” Java stated about his recent run. “It’s tough to quantify what exactly works, why it’s a confidence game, but there’s something about poker which momentum is a real thing.”
