The absence of the November Line in the 2017’s edition implies that the finalists will have to continue play on Thursday. Another surprising fact is that each of the final nine on the final table will take home at least a million dollars from the $10,000 buy-in event.
The WSOP has attracted a plethora of entrants and this year’s event saw 7,221 players registering for the event, generating a total prize pool of $67,877,400. The final nine were decided following Michael Ruane’s dismissal at 10th place. He missed out on the million dollar mark and had to settle for $8,25,001.
