The California poker professional Dylan Wilkerson has won the WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino Main Event for a whopping $216,790. This feat came after his back-to-back two deep runs in WSOP Circuit Main Event.
“Winning always feels great, regardless of how big. And this was pretty big. So yeah, it’s really good,” stated the joyous Wilkerson from California.
Wilkerson returned for the final day as one of short-stacks, but he did not want to miss out on the golden chance and so he played cleverly, climbing up in chips and clinching the event finally. He was 8 th in chips when only 12 players remained in the field for Final Day. At the final table, he overcame some big brains in poker to clinch the coveted title.
After Douglas Jefferson going in 3 rd place, the heads-up game kicked off between Wilkerson and Toby Lewis. On the ultimate hand of the heads-up, Wilkerson raised to 350,000 to which Lewis made a quick call. The flop revealed Qc-8d-6c and both checked the flop. The turn gave out 2s and Lewis bet 550,000 to which Wilkerson made an immediate call. The river displayed 4h and Lewis made a bet of 1,450,000. Wilkerson went all-in and Lewis made the call. Wilkerson tabled 2h-2d for a three of kind, while Lewis displayed 6h-4c for his runner-up finish for $134,145.
