Professionals who regularly play poker have shown an excellent display at the 27th edition of the Macau Poker Cup. Presently, the headline event i.e. Red Dragon Main Event is in full swing.
Day 1B of the Main Event is now in the record books with 388 entries arriving on the second starting flight. With Day 1A’s 328 entries, the tally in the event stands at 716 runners with one more starting flight still remaining.

At the end of day’s play, Spain`s Jesus Espinosa Fernandez piled the strongest stack after he took the lead in one of the final hands of the night. Fernandez now is currently the overall chip leader with 206,500 in chips, exceeding Day 1A’s biggest stack Huafeng Gu who claimed 179,300.
3 Indian challengers were in attendance in Day 1B as well namely, Kunal Jain, Paawan Bansal, and Charu Vikram Kaushik. However, none of the them managed to survive the day.
