Since late November 2015, Maurice Hawkins has been on a marathon spree, especially World Series of Poker Circuit rings and is continuing well into 2017. And now, Hawkins has made history with a record 10th WSOP Circuit ring for clinching the WSOP Circuit Council Bluffs Main Event for $97,561. The Florida man now is the only individual with 10 rings and 4 WSOP Circuit Main Events titles to his name. He has roughly $2.5 million in all-time tournament earnings.

Heads-up found Hawkins up against William Perpich and the final hand saw Hawkins raise to 95,000 on the button. Perpich re-raised to 250,000 and then commenced a series of bets and calls, following each board move. The board revealed and as Perpich went all-in, Hawkins instantly called. Perpich tabled for two pairs, but Hawkins possessed a full house with his and clinched the title.
