Nipun Java, who won the hearts of enthusiasts of poker after winning two WSOP bracelets, has been named the international ambassador of the Global Poker League in India.
The announcement certainly took the poker community by storm as poker pros awaited more information. Now, in a series of social media posts spanning over the last few days, Alex Dreyfus, CEO of the GPL, has revealed the first three players who will be associated with GPL India.
Regarding Nipun Java’s appointment as International Ambassador, Dreyfus posted on Facebook:
“Happy to welcome Nipun Java to the GPL India family! As the 1st WSOP winner and #1 GPI player, Nipun will serve as International Ambassor role and also Caster for our TV streams”.
