PokerStars famed New Jersey Spring Championship of Online Poker (NJSCOOP) will return in a bigger format this year. It will feature more events and the biggest-ever guaranteed prize pool seen in the New Jersey online poker market.
The series is scheduled to run between May 6th and 22nd and will consist of 35 events. Most notably, it will also copy the multiple buy-in levels for each event format that made SCOOP a favorite annual festival among newcomers and poker pros alike.
NJSCOOP’s itinerary offers a variety of different poker variants featuring both High and Low buy-in levels. The series culminates with a $500 No Limit Hold’em Main Event (High) with has a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000, and a $50 Main Event (Low) featuring a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool. Both main events will begin on May 21 and end on May 22.
Satellites are presently underway on PokerStarsNJ for the Main Event with Spin & Gos also awarding seats starting from a mere $4.
The highest buy-in and guaranteed events in the itinerary include the $300 NLHE Heads Up event with $20,000 guaranteed on May 9th, $300 NLHE Four Max event featuring a $40,000 guaranteed on May 15th, and finally the $1,000 NLHE Six Max event which has $85,000 guaranteed on May 16th.
