Manila will now host the first ever PokerStars Festival Manila which is slated to run for 11 days. The series began from July 28 and is scheduled to run till August 7. Enthusiasts of poker in India have something to look forward to now.
Previously a hot stop on the APPT, PokerStars Festival Manila will now take over the reigns as the headliner for poker in the Philippines and is the latest series in the list of spectacular events that have happened in the stunning venue. A strong Indian contingent is expected to arrive to the eastern hemisphere to participate in the series and a few who are confirmed in attendance are Kunal Patni, Akash Shekhar, Viren Kapur, Dhaval Mudgal, Kanishka Samant, Keshav Chadha, Abhineet Jain and Arjun Dhingra.
The 11-day poker tournament will host 56 tournaments and satellites beginning with the ₱16,500 PokerStars Open (₱4 million guarantee). The series will end with the ₱55,000 Main Event guaranteeing a colossal ₱20 million prize pool which begins on August 3.
