The WSOP is back with more exciting stops for the next year in its international circuit schedule. The schedule includes a record number of events for the 2017-18 season with 13 confirmed stops having already been confirmed and additional stops expected to be announced to the 2018 portion of the calendar year. This is exciting news for enthusiasts who play poker on the back of an impressive display at WSOP Las Vegas.
The year’s first WSOP International circuit event will begin from August 2-8 at Iguazu Casino in Argentina and will resume every month thereafter, until its conclusion in May, 2018.
Additional tournament series will be scheduled in Brazil, Italy, Holland, Czech Republic, Brazil, Australia, and Morroco.
WSOP Director Gregory Chochon said, “Our partner casinos have done a terrific job bringing the WSOP brand and experience to their properties. The WSOP International Circuit is here to stay and we look forward to continually improving the experience and prize pools for the players.”
Similar to the US domestic circuit, the International event will award two qualifiers at each stop for the WSOP Global Casino Championship. A Main Event champions and the Casino Champion will each be granted an entry into the season-ending freeroll, besides to the gold WSOP Circuit ring and prize money from the event.
