In what is another triumph for poker in India, pro-Divanshu Khurana made it to the final table in the €1,650 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Event. For his efforts, Khurana earned a smooth payday of €6,347. The event crowned Chris Ferguson as the champion, as the 54-year-old went on the clinch his 6th WSOP bracelet.

Stanislav Wright opened with Ad, 10d, 8c,2s against Khurana who 3-bet with As, 9c, 6a, 4c. Wright called and Khurana prematurely exposed his hand. The tournament authority let the flop be dealt and the cards opened 8d, 7h, 3h and that is when all the money went in. The turn 3a and the river 4d completed the board cutting Khurana’s run shot in the event at 6th. Chris Ferguson ent on to win the event and bagged €39,289 for his top spot.
