Enthusiasts of online poker have several splendid events to look forward to this New Year. WSOP.com Player of the Year race is set to begin as well. The winner will receive $10,000 in cash plus a WSOP.com Player of the Year ring as well as VIP seating during the 2019 WSOP Main Event Final Table.
To qualify for the event, competitors will need to earn points by joining scheduled Multi-Table tournaments which offer cash prizes from now until December 31st, 2018.
Additionally, there are tournaments that do not matter with regards to the Player of the Year points. These tournaments feature single-table, multi-table, heads-up and SNG tournaments. Ladies Only plus invitational events have also been excluded from the competition.
Last year’s WSOP.com Player of the Year was Smaulerg, a player who accumulated 6901.81 points in the 2017 calendar year.
